Photo licence
Draft, to be reviewed before launch
This licence covers photos you download or buy in a client gallery on robertskalski.com, meaning a gallery available through a link you received from me. It is granted by Robert Skalski, who took the photos and owns the copyright to them. Contact: hello@robertskalski.com.
1. When you get the licence
In a free gallery, when you download a photo. In a paid gallery, when your order is paid, for the photos you paid for. The licence is non-exclusive, worldwide and not limited in time.
2. What you can do with the photos
- Save and keep them on your devices and in the cloud.
- Print them for your own use: prints, posters, albums, gifts.
- Post them on social media on your personal profile, including as a player on a profile you run about yourself.
- Send them to family and friends.
- Crop them and change their size and format.
3. Credit
When you post a photo, credit it as “Photo: Robert Skalski” or tag @robertskalski_photography in the post or on the photo. On Instagram, a tag is enough.
4. What you can't do without my separate permission
- Use the photos commercially: in advertising, sponsor materials, products for sale, marketing campaigns, or on company and club profiles.
- Sell the photos, pass the files to others to publish, or grant further licences.
- Remove or cover the credit, present the photos as your own, or enter them in competitions.
- Apply filters or change the editing of the photos, such as colours, brightness or contrast, including in apps like Instagram.
- Edit the photos in a way that changes what they show, such as photomontages or removing or adding people and objects.
- Use the photos to train artificial intelligence or to generate new images from them.
- Publish the photos in a context that is offensive, discriminatory or degrading to the people in them.
If you need photos for a club, a sponsor, the media or any other commercial use, write to me and I'll prepare a separate licence.
5. People in the photos
This licence covers the copyright in the photos. If other people appear in a photo, follow the law on the use of a person's image and respect their privacy.
6. My rights
I keep the copyright. The licence is non-exclusive, so I can continue to use the photos, for example in my portfolio, in publications and in licences for others.
7. Buying and access to the files
- Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy as the seller (Merchant of Record). Its purchase terms also apply, and it issues your receipt.
- The full-resolution files are available right after payment. The download link works for 30 days, so download the photos and keep a copy.
- Photos are digital content delivered immediately. By ticking the box before buying, you ask for immediate access to the files and acknowledge that you then lose the right to withdraw from the contract (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
- If a file is damaged or doesn't match the preview, write within 30 days of purchase. I'll send a working file, or if that's not possible, refund that photo.
8. Breach of the licence
If you use the photos against this licence, the licence ends and I may pursue claims under copyright law.
9. Law and contact
Polish law applies. This does not limit the rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live. Send questions and requests to hello@robertskalski.com. How I handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
